Courses/Outings for your kids

There's a few interesting courses I've come across and will like to share it with you. If you too came across one, pls share it with us too.


Forest Adventure Park (Singapore's first tree top adventure course)

Location: Bedok Reservior Park
Fees: From S$15 to S$15

- Helps your kid in learning of the Nature and building of his/her Confidence Level
- 2 hrs Grand Course for adults/kids 10 years and above.
- 1 hr Kid's Course for kids 5yrs old and up and at least 1.1m tall.
Course Structure:
- Participants are required to attend a safety briefing session.
- First Aid-trained instructors are there to supervise for the Kid's Course.
- Safety lines are hooked to kids at all times for safety.
- Kids will be enjoying swing and climbing their way through the tress via ladders, trapezes and flying fox.

Health Talks on Kid's obesity problem (By Singapore Hear Foundation)
Location: Hear Wellness Centre at Bishan Junction 8
Date: Till 18 Aug 07

Objective: To educate parents on the causes and consequences of kid's obesity. What are the signs and how to manage or prevent it.


Chinese Festivals and Customs Workshop (By Lorna Whiston Study Centre)
A 5 day workshop that helps to develope kids's Mandarin through learning traditional Chinese customs and festivals..
Location: United Square Branch
Fees: About $172.95-199.20
Age Group: Primary 3-4
Schedule: December 3-4 (Mon-Fri, 9:30am-11:30am)
Objective: Help kids to understand the traditional customs and improve their listening, writing, reading and speaking skills in Mandarin
